Our story

It started as a mom and a daughter, picking up dogs for park trips.

In 2016, Mayrena and Aimee opened the doors to Fit & Go Pets with one rule: every dog gets called by name.

Nine years and 7,500 square feet later, the rule hasn't changed. We're still the people picking up your dog at the door, learning their quirks, sending the photos that make your day easier.

We call it Abuela's House. A second family for your dog while you handle the rest of your life.

Is your facility actually cage-free?

Yes. Every overnight guest sleeps in a real suite or open boarding area. Crates exist only for short rests when a dog asks for one (and some do).

What do I need before my dog's first stay?

A current vaccine record (DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella) and a quick meet-and-greet so we can match your dog to the right play group. Both can happen in the same week.

How does the door-to-door transport work?

We pick up and drop off across Miami-Dade in our marked vans. Pickup windows are 30 minutes. You'll get a text on the way.

Do you send photos during stays?

Yes. Every dog gets a photo or video each day, sent to your phone. Boarding stays get a recap when we hand them back.

What if my dog has medical needs?

Our wellness team handles medications, post-surgery recovery, and senior care. Just bring labeled meds and a written schedule.

Can I tour the facility before booking?

Absolutely. Stop by during open hours, or schedule a tour via the booking link. We give the full walkthrough, indoor and outdoor.
